Improving frontline employee engagement and retention through culture change
San Diego Humane Society, is a non-profit animal welfare organization committed to ending animal homelessness.
With frontline employees spread across four campuses and five different teams at each campus, the San Diego Humane Society recogfnized the need to address the challenges that each campus faced which also bringing practice and mindset back to the organization as whole. During participation in the Talent Rewire Employee Action Lab, the team conducted employee focus groups to better understand and identify barriers and challenges.
